Schecter Diamond Series Elite 5 Reviews 5

I purchased this beautiful bass about one month ago ( 11/15/03 ) at my local guitar center in Concord, CA. There was something special about it hanging there on the wall. Its gorgeuos honey sunburst color made in stand out from all the other basses. After playing it in the same model SWR I own, i decided I must have. They sold it for 600 and gave me an extra set of ernie ball strings for free. I don't think I set it down the first week I had it. The sustain on every note is incredible. It has great range for different playing styles from jazz to metal. The gold hardware looks stunning. It comes with Elixer strings so you dont have do start out with the crummy manufacturer strings like most Ibanez basses.

The sustain on every note is incredible. It has great range for different playing styles as well. I can play anything from jazz to metal. The gold hardware looks stunning. It comes with Elixer strings so you dont have do start out with the crummy manufacturer strings like most Ibanez basses. The body and neck is made from one piece of maple. The two diamonds on the 12 fret look pretty cool. It has EMG Hz w/ Active 2-Band EQ for the electronics. Overall a great bass so far.

Nothing much, the low B string buzzed a little but was fixed easily.

Incredible solid. I have encountered no problems and by the looks of it I won't be seeing any at all.

If you are looking for a step up from the begginer basses this one is perfect. $600 may seem like a lot but you won't need another bass as long as you live. Sounds great live as well.
